Introduction
Danone is a recognized food multinational committed to a number of social, societal and environmental objectives, including the promotion of gender equality.
To this end, Danone created the EVE program in 2009, a seminar designed to promote women's leadership in business and break with stereotypical attitudes. Communication around the event is a major strategic focus of the project.
The challenges ahead
The EVE team was using Google Drive on a daily basis to collaborate with its many external service providers and partners. However, this solution proved to be limited and not very user-friendly. Employees regularly encountered backup problems when several people were working on the same file, which delayed the progress of sometimes urgent projects.
In order to collaborate efficiently and easily, the team needed a tool that could centralize everything and enable efficient, user-friendly collaborative working.
Why monday.com was chosen
After a two-week free trial, the team decided to subscribe to monday.com, which proved to be the ideal solution. According to Claire Petit, Head of Digital Communications and Event Projects for Danone's EVE Program, "The UX of the tool is exceptional. You can find any information intuitively by clicking on a simple link: magic! As a bonus, the dashboard templates available on the tool make it easy to set parameters."
The advantages of monday.com
With monday.com, the EVE program team was able to call on an external Community Manager who had access to the "Shared Board" functionality. This feature makes it possible to invite people from outside the company to collaborate on a given board, without having to pay for access.
The Community Manager was thus able to enter all his publications on a daily basis, and assign each one an associated status. With a single click, articles go from "awaiting validation" to "in progress" or "published".
What's more, each item can be assigned to a user or guest, so everyone knows where to focus their efforts. The colors assigned to each category and publication status make it easy and fun to read. Deadlines are also quickly visible, and automatic reminders can be set up for each project coming to an end.
The results
The EVE team is delighted to have chosen monday.com to manage its projects. "Monday.com is much nicer and faster than the tools we were using before," says Claire Petit. "Overall, we've noticed a clear increase in our productivity. It's much easier to manage our business! After a few months of using monday.com
